Adopt a Frame
Help rebuild the very backbone of Flying Coney.
Flying Coney is built from massive steel frames — the skeleton that gives the ship her shape and strength. After more than 80 years of service, many of these frames are damaged and must be repaired or replaced. This is one of the most challenging and expensive stages of the restoration.
By adopting a frame, you can directly contribute to bringing Flying Coney back to life. Every adoption helps cover the cost of steel and shipyard work for this structural repair.
How it works
We’ve created three ways to join the campaign:
Full Frame Replacement – 250 €
In the former fish room, the frames are completely gone and must be replaced from scratch.

Partial Frame Repair – 100 €
In the forecastle, the lower parts of several frames are damaged and need to be repaired.

Every Contribution Counts – Support to a Stringer
In addition to the frames, two large stringers in the former fish room must be renewed. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps make this possible.
Everyone who adopts a frame will have their name permanently written on the repaired frame or stringer — a lasting sign of your support inside the ship’s very structure.
Why your support matters
The frame repair is not something we can do entirely by ourselves. While we handle as much of the restoration as possible, this stage requires the expertise and heavy equipment of the shipyard crew. That’s why your support is essential.
Adopting a frame is more than a donation. It means becoming part of Flying Coney’s story. With your help, this historic vessel will sail again and inspire future generations.
